Neighborhood Library

This project proposes an innovative neighborhood library conceived as a community-scale extension of the Qatar National Library. While many neighborhoods in Qatar are well served by essential amenities, accessible local libraries remain limited. The design responds to this gap by creating a welcoming learning hub where students and residents can study, explore knowledge, and engage in recreational learning beyond school hours. Designed as a 7,000 sqm facility, the library supports study, work, and leisure, fostering a shared culture of learning within the neighborhood.
